The creation process is 100% handmade. It is sculpted in wax before being cast in precious metal. 

Proelio anulus means engagement ring in latín. This ring may or may not work as an engagement ring, however it is a tribute to Venus, the goddess of love, who after being born was carried to shore as a pearl in a shell. Like in Botticelli's painting.

* Akoya Japanese pearls:  

This gender fluid gem has captured the limelight with both male and female, as fashion leaders turn to pearls as a powerful symbol of status and sophistication.

Akoya cultured pearls form in the Pinctada Fucata oyster (Akoya oyster).  These oysters are thriving in the hidden bays off the coast of Japan in the cold saltwater of the Pacific Ocean. These pearls are harvested in the colder months from December to March and produce pearls with the highest thickness of nacre. The Akoya pearl is known for its superb luster.

They are organic, it means that it comes from a living being. Its cultivation lasts from 6 months to 4 years. 

In the 1920s, Coco Chanel made Akoya pearl strands a must-have accessory for debutantes and socialites throughout Europe, affirming that “a woman needs ropes and ropes of pearls.”
