This one bears no crests, initials, or ornaments. Only shape and geometry.
Leonardo da Vinci saw the octagon as the perfect transitional figure: between the square (EARTHLY) — the rational, the material — and the circle (CELESTIAL) — the spiritual, the eternal.
The octagon is the midpoint, a bridge between body and soul.
There, between the material and the eternal, is where I am strongest, and my ring represents my strength, my balance, and my power.
